EDUCACION NUTRICIONAL = NUTRICION EMOCIONAL

Hoy tuve la reunión con la profe de mi hija Julene de 4 años. Ha sido un rato muy agradable y reflexivo. Me ha gustado la exposición y la importancia que ha dado a la educación emocional y como ha sido capaz de desgranar al detalle la forma de ser de mi hija, al igual que de los otros niños. Me ha encantado, sinceramente.

Una de sus frases se me ha quedado grabada..."forjamos nuestra forma de ser de los 0 a los 6 años" concluyendo que pasamos el resto de nuestra vida intentando "pulir" esa manera ya creada... Madre mía, ha abierto en mí un sinfín de razonamientos o pensamientos o puzzles mentales en un momento...mi cerebro ha empezado a revolotear  y a sacar interconexiones....

Cuando somos niños asentamos las bases de nuestra personalidad con sus aciertos y carencias, con inseguridades no trabajadas que repercuten en nuestro desarrollo y nos limita capacidades...con altibajos emocionales que afectan a nuestras relaciones con los demás y con nosotros mismos para siempre...es la infancia la semilla que debe cuidarse con mimo para producir adultos libres y seguros...esa es la clave!!

Si algo me gusta de mi trabajo en Nutrición es conocer personas y analizar los motivos por los que el vínculo con la comida se ha convertido en algo tóxico o dañino y que ha generado problemas físicos y /o emocionales. Si profundizas y consigues llegar a la parte sensible de la persona descubres que el "punto cero" suele ser emocional en la mayoria de los casos, ya sea por un shock puntual o por una gestión emocional deficiente desde siempre...

Qué importante desde niños aprender a establecer esa base firme de seguridad y confianza, pero me planteo también que fundamental establecer una relación "no-emocio-dependiente" con la comida a través de una Educación Nutricional aportando herramientas justo cuando la obra se está construyendo, siendo la "obra" nuestra autoestima en ese período de tiempo, tal como explicaba la profesora en cuanto al desarrollo infantil.

Premiamos con comida, castigamos con comida, consolamos con comida, celebramos con comida....todo a nivel emocional puede derivarse a una relación con la comida...los trastornos alimenticios no son más que relaciones tóxicas que se generan a partir de un estado emocional.

¿Y si la clave fuera precisamente esa...EDUCARSE NUTRICIONALMENTE desde la infancia para NUTRIRSE  EMOCIONALMENTE el resto de la vida ?  ¿ Y si  pudiéramos ser capaces de controlar la ansiedad, el desconsuelo, la angustia o la efusividad sin atracones? ¿Y si todo está tan interconectado que en realidad confundimos nutrir el alma alimentando el cuerpo?
